David Fussell - Consultant

As Consultant, David mentors the Goodman Law solicitors to ensure that his 37 years of experience in general commercial law, property law, business sales and purchases; corporate structuring; wills, probates and estates benefit future generation of legal professionals. David studied at Monash University completing a Bachelor of Jurisprudence followed by a Bachelor of Laws in 1975. He commenced his working life in a Melbourne commercial law firm followed by a move to Canberra in 1978 to create Wood Fussell. In February 2011, David joined Goodman Law following the acquisition of the Canberra practice of Wood Fussell by Goodman Law. |
Michelle Bennie - Legal Assistant

Michelle joined Goodman Law in September 2011 to provide legal support to the Principal Director, Steven Gavagna, and the litigation solicitors. Her work includes preparing correspondence for clients and other solicitors, managing matter files, general research and preparing and filing court documents. Michelle is undertaking a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canberra. Michelle has a number of years of experience in the hospitality industry in a variety of roles including marketing and staff supervision. |
Tiffany is a Paralegal at Goodman Law whilst completing a Bachelor of Laws/Arts majoring in Political Science at the ANU. Her work at Goodman Law includes assisting solicitors with document organisation and liaison with clients. Specifically, Tiffany co-ordinates documentation, matter filing, drafts and edits documents, compiles briefs to Counsel and manages client appointments and paperwork on behalf of solicitors. Tiffany has a background in customer service for large organisations such as Telstra. Tiffany Long - Paralegal

Derek Bayley - Paralegal

Derek is currently working as a Paralegal at Goodman Law, providing administrative support to the firm’s solicitors. His role includes drafting correspondence to clients, collating Briefs to Counsel and assisting with the firm’s filing and record keeping. Derek is also enrolled full time at ANU, completing a combined Arts/Law degree. Derek is majoring in German and Arabic, and speaks fluent French. |
As a paralegal at Goodman Law, Anne assists solicitors with document organisation and co-ordination, matter filing, drafting and editing documents; compiling briefs to Counsel; and liaising with clients, and managing client appointments and paperwork on behalf of solicitors. Anne is currently in her fourth year of an Arts/Law degree. Whilst studying, she has worked in local and multi-national law firms in many areas of law. Fluent in Vietnamese, Anne has worked as an interpreter for an NGO, travelling to Vietnam.Anne-Louise Pham - Paralegal

Joel is in his second year studying a Bachelor of Laws at the ANU. At Goodman Law, Joel assists solicitors by drafting court documents; writing letters to clients, counsel and other solicitors; filing documents; and working on clients’ matters on solicitors’ instructions. In the past, Joel has undertaken work experience in barristers’ chambers in Perth and London. He has also done legal administrative work at a community legal centre. At Goodman Law, Lucas is responsible for legal administrative duties and any work provisioned by our solicitors such as collating Briefs to counsel. Lucas is in his second year in a full time bachelor of Law/Science at the Australian National University. Previously, Lucas spent three years working for an energy consultancy providing energy advice to householders in the ACT, as well as delivering creative marketing solutions to the business.Joel Emery – Paralegal

Lucas McCallum - Paralegal

Miles joined Goodman Law in February 2008 as a paralegal whilst studying music at ANU. He spent two years in our Conveyancing group where he liaised with clients, agents, banks and other law firms and facilitated the exchange and settlement of contracts. In August 2011, Miles began working with our commercial law, litigation and family law solicitors, contributing to the administration of matters and client liaison.Miles O’Connell – Paralegal

Joshua O'Connell - Paralegal

Joshua commenced his position at Goodman Law in December 2010. His paralegal work is on a part-time basis while he studies, completing dual degrees in Economics and Advertising & Marketing Communication at the University of Canberra. At Goodman Law, Joshua assists our solicitors with many aspects of legal administration. |
